Quehanna Trail

This is a true wilderness experience in the heart of Moshannon State Forest during peak mountain laurel blooming season. The Quehanna Trail is one of Pennsylvanias' longer backpacking routes, totalling around 73 miles of ridge and valley topography. The exact route will be finalized closer to the trip date, with considerations on water availability, spring temperatures, and peak blooms. We will plan to cover arounD 25-30 miles of this trail, utilizing connecting routes and possible "off trail" travel. Due to permitting restrictions in conjunction with Mountain Laurel season, there is only ONE trip date for this section. I SO hope to see you there!

Dates & Pricing

Between mid-may and late June, mountain laurels show off their flowers in a stunning display of white and pink. The Quehanna Trail is filled with them, and trekking through this area during this time frame is a truly magical experience.
